I host the second half of the Thursday Morning Special Blend on CKCU, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. I started the show in 2004, inspired by my passions for music, other arts, and progressive politics.
The Thursday Blend focuses on local arts and rights issues, with plenty of live local music and interesting interviews. I regularly have representatives from the local music community, GCTC, Amnesty International, Rod Phillips on wine, and more. Like all of CKCU's shows, you can hear some of the best of community radio on the Thursday Morning Special Blend.
I am always open to story ideas, and I especially LOVE having local musicians come to the studio to chat and play some tunes. If you are interested, check out how to contact me.

"It's coming through the air for all of us to hear. Could it be the sounds of liberation or just the image of detention? We want the airwaves back, we want the airwaves back. We don't just want airtime. We want all the time all of the time. We want the airwaves back, we want the airwaves back. We want transmission for the people by the people. "
